PARKING OPTIONS NEAR THE HAWAI‘I CONVENTION CENTER
Parking at the Hawai‘i Convention Center is extremely limited, and guests are encouraged to plan ahead. Premium Parking provides a list of nearby public parking facilities that guests may reference when considering additional parking options:

These parking facilities are independently operated and are not managed, reserved or monitored by the Made in Hawai‘i Festival. The festival is not responsible for parking availability, fees, vehicle security, closures or changes made by the individual parking operators.
Guests should also consider rideshare, public transportation or the festival’s Priority Pass shuttle service.

WHAT IS A PRIORITY PASS?
A Priority Pass is a $6 per-person, per-day add-on available for Saturday and Sunday.
It includes round-trip shuttle transportation between a designated off-site parking location and the Hawai‘i Convention Center, plus expedited entry through the dedicated Priority Pass lane.
Parking are not included and must be purchased or paid for separately.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GENERAL ADMISSION AND A PRIORITY PASS?
A General Admission ticket provides entry to the Made in Hawai‘i Festival on the date purchased. Saturday and Sunday General Admission tickets include a Suggested Timed Arrival period, and guests enter through the general admission process.
A Priority Pass is a separate transportation and expedited-entry add-on.
Priority Pass guests receive round-trip shuttle transportation from a designated parking location. Festival admission tickets are scanned before guests board the shuttle. All guests will receive a wristband that will gain them Priority Pass entry and round trip shuttle access.
Upon arrival at the Hawai‘i Convention Center, Priority Pass guests bypass the general admission line and proceed through the dedicated Priority Pass lane.
All guests must still complete required security and bag screening.
A Priority Pass does not include parking fees, parking must be paid to each individual site.
HOW MUCH DOES A PRIORITY PASS COST?
Priority Passes are $6 per person, per day and are bundled with your ticket purchase at checkout.
Guests attending both Saturday and Sunday via the Priority Pass route must purchase a separate Priority Pass for each day.
WHAT DOES A PRIORITY PASS INCLUDE?
Each Priority Pass includes:
Round-trip shuttle transportation between a designated parking location and the Hawai‘i Convention Center
Expedited entry through the dedicated Priority Pass lane
A wristband for return shuttle transportation
DOES A PRIORITY PASS INCLUDE FESTIVAL ADMISSION?
Festival admission and Priority Passes are sold as a bundle at checkout on the MIHF ticketing system.
Each guest must produce their QR code for each person upon entering the shuttle bus.
DOES A PRIORITY PASS INCLUDE PARKING?
No. Parking fees are separate and must be paid directly to the parking lot operator.
Purchasing a Priority Pass does not reserve or guarantee a parking space.
DO I NEED A PRIORITY PASS TO USE THE SHUTTLE?
Yes. Public shuttle transportation is available exclusively to Priority Pass holders. A Priority Pass is required for each occupied shuttle seat.

IS PARKING GUARANTEED?
No. Parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
A Priority Pass provides shuttle access but does not reserve or guarantee a certain parking stall. There are however, more stalls than are needed between the two sites.
CAN I LEAVE THE PARKING LOT AND RETURN LATER?
No. In-and-out privileges are not available.
Once a vehicle exits the parking lot, re-entry is not permitted using the same parking payment.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BOARD THE SHUTTLE?
Each guest must present:
A valid festival admission ticket for that day
A valid Priority Pass for that day
Guests should have both tickets and QR codes open and ready before reaching the shuttle boarding area.
WHEN WILL MY FESTIVAL ADMISSION TICKET BE SCANNED?
Festival admission tickets will be scanned before guests board the shuttle. After arriving at the Hawai‘i Convention Center, Priority Pass guests may bypass the general admission line and proceed through the dedicated Priority Pass lane.
DO PRIORITY PASS GUESTS STILL GO THROUGH SECURITY?
Yes. All guests must complete required security and bag screening before entering the festival.
The Priority Pass provides expedited entry through a dedicated lane but does not bypass security requirements.
DOES A PRIORITY PASS GUARANTEE IMMEDIATE ENTRY?
No. A Priority Pass provides access to an expedited entry lane but does not guarantee immediate admission. We ask that all guests remain flexible and patience as we ensure all guests arrive safely and promptly.
Wait times may still be affected by shuttle loading, traffic, guest volume, security screening and operating conditions.
HOW DOES RETURN SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION WORK?
Guests will receive a wristband when they initially board the shuttle. The wristband must remain on and must be presented for return transportation to the designated parking location.
CAN I CHANGE MY SHUTTLE TICKET?
If you need to change your shuttle ticket, please request a refund and purchase a new ticket. How should customers request a refund? Email [email protected]
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE OR REMOVE MY WRISTBAND?
Please keep your wristband on for the duration of your festival visit. A valid wristband is required to board the return shuttle. Guests who lose or remove their wristband may not be permitted to use return transportation.
If your wristband fell off, please hold onto it and show it to the MIHF Staff/Volunteer for entry.
CAN I RETURN TO A DIFFERENT PARKING LOCATION?
No. Guests must return to the same designated parking location selected for their original shuttle trip.
Return transportation is based on the parking location associated with the Priority Pass.
CAN I USE MY PRIORITY PASS ON BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY?
No. Priority Passes are valid only for the date purchased. Guests attending both days must purchase a separate Priority Pass for Saturday and Sunday.
DO CHILDREN NEED A PRIORITY PASS?
Children under 6 years of age do not require a Priority Pass if they will sit on your lap.
All guests age 6 and older require a Priority Pass. A pass is required for each occupied shuttle seat.
If a child requires a seat, you will need to purchase a Priority Pass for them.
CAN I PURCHASE A PRIORITY PASS ONSITE?
No. Priority Passes must be purchased online in advance. Passes and shuttle capacity are limited and may sell out.
WHAT IF I MISS MY SUGGESTED TIMED ARRIVAL PERIOD?
Guests should make every effort to arrive during their selected Suggested Timed Arrival period. Guests arriving late may be required to wait for the next available shuttle. Immediate boarding is not guaranteed and remains subject to capacity and operating conditions.
A Suggested Timed Arrival period is not a guaranteed individual shuttle departure time.
HOW OFTEN WILL THE SHUTTLES RUN?
Shuttles will operate continuously during the scheduled service periods.
Actual departure and travel times may vary due to traffic, loading, guest demand and operating conditions.
A selected Suggested Timed Arrival period is not a guaranteed individual bus departure time.
CAN I USE THE PRIORITY PASS LANE WITHOUT TAKING THE SHUTTLE?
The Priority Pass is designed as a combined shuttle and expedited-entry product.
Guests must follow the procedures associated with their pass and present all required credentials to access the dedicated Priority Pass lane.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I NEED ASSISTANCE AT A PARKING LOT OR SHUTTLE STOP?
Please speak with a festival volunteer or Roberts Hawai‘i representative or transportation staff member onsite.
Staff will be available to assist with boarding, directions and general transportation questions.
ARE THE PARKING AND SHUTTLE LOCATIONS ACCESSIBLE?
Guests who require accessible transportation or parking assistance must email their request to [email protected] by Saturday, Aug. 15.
Advance notice is required to coordinate transportation and boarding assistance. Accessible shuttle accommodations cannot be guaranteed without prior arrangements.
Upon arrival, please follow posted signage and speak with onsite parking, transportation, or festival staff for assistance.
Accessible parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please allow extra time for parking, shuttle boarding, and arrival at the Hawaiʻi Convention Center.
WHAT IS THE KŪPUNA AND ACCESSIBILITY ASSISTANCE ENTRY?
The Kūpuna & Accessibility Assistance entry is available for kūpuna and guests who may have difficulty standing or walking for extended periods of time.
This assistance may be appropriate for:
Seniors generally age 75 and older
Individuals with mobility limitations
Individuals using wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, canes or other mobility devices
Individuals with medical conditions or disabilities that make prolonged standing difficult
Eligible guests may be accompanied by one support person.
Only the qualifying kūpuna or guest requiring assistance and one support person may use this entrance. Additional family members, friends or members of the same group must use the general admission entrance.
WHERE SHOULD KŪPUNA AND GUESTS REQUIRING ACCESSIBILITY ASSISTANCE ENTER?
Guests requiring assistance should not wait in the general admission line.
They should be dropped off or proceed directly to the Priority Pass entrance at the makai-side door of the Hawai‘i Convention Center.
Upon arrival, look for festival volunteers or staff wearing purple shirts and proceed to the Information Booth for assistance.
All guests, including those using the Kūpuna & Accessibility Assistance entrance, must have a valid festival admission ticket and complete the required security screening.
IS THE KŪPUNA AND ACCESSIBILITY ASSISTANCE ENTRANCE AN EXPEDITED LINE FOR ALL SENIORS?
No. This service is intended to support guests who require additional assistance due to age, mobility, a medical condition or a disability.
It is not intended as an expedited entrance for guests who are able to wait in the general admission line.
Festival staff reserve the right to direct guests to the appropriate entrance or line to help ensure this service remains available for those who need it most.
WHAT IF I PARK AT THE HAWAI‘I CONVENTION CENTER?
Parking at the Hawai‘i Convention Center is extremely limited and is not guaranteed.
Guests who are able to park at the Convention Center must follow instructions provided by parking attendants, security personnel and festival staff.
After parking, guests may be directed to the end of the general admission line based on current line conditions. Guests may be escorted down the Grand Staircase and along the Ala Wai Promenade.
Parking at the Hawai‘i Convention Center does not provide direct or expedited entry to the festival.
WHAT IF I NEED ACCESSIBILITY ASSISTANCE AFTER PARKING AT THE HAWAI‘I CONVENTION CENTER?
Guests requiring accessibility assistance should not attempt to navigate the Grand Staircase or join the general admission line.
Please speak with Hawai‘i Convention Center security or call HCC Security at 808-864-4749.
Security personnel can provide directions and, when appropriate, escort the qualifying guest and one support person to the elevator and designated Priority Pass entrance at the makai-side door.
Only the qualifying kūpuna or guest requiring assistance and one support person may use this entrance. The remainder of the group must proceed through the general admission line.
All guests must have valid festival admission tickets and complete the required security screening.
WHEN DOES PARKING AT THE HAWAI‘I CONVENTION CENTER OPEN?
Public parking at the Hawai‘i Convention Center opens during the published festival operating hours.
The parking garage will not be open to the general public before the festival opens.
Before public opening hours, Convention Center parking access is reserved for authorized vendors completing approved restocking and other festival operations. Entry will be provided for vendors showing a vendor badge.
Guests should not arrive early expecting to park at the Convention Center before the published opening time.
Parking remains extremely limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
WHAT IF I CANNOT FIND PARKING?
Parking at all locations is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchasing festival admission or a Priority Pass does not guarantee parking.
Guests should allow additional time to locate parking, travel from the parking area and complete the ticket-scanning and security-screening process.
Guests who arrive after their selected Suggested Timed Arrival period may still enter later that same day, subject to current capacity, security screening and festival operating hours.
The Made in Hawaii Festival encourages people to park at Ala Moana Shopping Center and surrounding areas. We encourage ridesharing, carpooling, and public transportation.
SHOULD I LEAVE VALUABLES IN MY VEHICLE?
No. Guests should remove valuables and secure their vehicles before boarding the shuttle or attending the festival.
Guests park at their own risk. Made in Hawai‘i Festival, Roberts Hawai‘i, parking lot operators, contractors, volunteers, sponsors and partners are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.
