Made in Hawaii Festival Online Marketplace

Produced by:

The Made in Hawaii Festival Online Marketplace is an exciting extension of the popular Made in Hawaii Festival, giving shoppers 24/7 access to an emporium of Hawaii-made products from across the state while providing local Hawaii businesses opportunities to grow and reach new customers throughout the year.

All of the products featured in our Marketplace have been carefully screened to ensure they meet Made in Hawaii Festival’s strict standards of quality, craftsmanship and authenticity.

Our products are limited to products that are Made in Hawaii. All products must meet all legal requirements of all applicable laws and rules relating to Made-In-Hawaii, including HRS §486-119 Hawaii Made products.

These laws and regulations state that: "No person shall keep, offer, display, or expose for sale, or solicit for the sale of any item, product, souvenir, or any other merchandise which is labeled "Made in Hawaii" or which by any other means misrepresents the origin of the item as being from any place within the State, which has not been manufactured, assembled, fabricated, or produced within the State and which has not had at least fifty-one per cent (51%) of its wholesale value added by manufacture, assembly, fabrication, or production within the State."

You won’t find a better place to “buy Hawaii” than right here at the Made in Hawaii Festival Online Marketplace.

Our Island Roots

In 1995, the first Made in Hawaii Festival opened with 61 exhibitor booths at Honolulu’s Neal Blaisdell Center. Produced by the Hawaii Food Industry Association, the festival was envisioned as an annual event to showcase the diversity of locally made products and provide an opportunity for companies to test-market new products and market themselves to retail buyers and consumers.

By 2019, the 3-day festival had grown to more than 450 booths featuring not only food products, but also apparel and jewelry, gifts, bath and beauty products, home accessories, artwork and handicrafts, produce and other home-grown consumer goods from around the 50th state. Live performances by award-winning Hawaii music artists and cooking demonstrations by local chefs add to the festival’s appeal to more than 60,000 attendees.

Hawaii Food Industry Association
